Brief Description

The Richmond Public Art Program, in partnership with the Parks Department, is seeking an artist or artist team to create a site-responsive landmark artwork for the new entrance plaza at the Hollybridge Way Waterfront Park located adjacent to the rapidly developing Oval Village, in Richmond, BC. This is a two-stage open artist call. Following review by the selection panel of the submitted artists’ statements of interest and their qualifications, up to five artists will be shortlisted and invited to attend a site orientation and prepare a concept proposal for presentation at an interview. An interview and concept proposal fee of $2,000.00 CDN plus GST will be paid to each of the shortlisted artists or artist teams, plus travel expenses to a maximum of $1,000.00.
