Brief Description

Downtown Park Rapids serves as the heart of the community with a variety of shops and restaurants. The Downtown Business Association promotes Downtown by creating memorable experiences through arts, entertainment and cultural education and enhancing small-town charm, ensuring downtown is visible and open for business, and connecting, promoting and advocating for member businesses. Pioneer Park is a small park located on the second block of Main Avenue South.

A new mural will be painted on the south wall of a Downtown business facing Pioneer Park after the concrete block wall is repaired and repainted. Goals of the project are:
1) To represent the Heartland Lakes brand of nature, family and tradition
2) Create a mural complementary to the park setting.
