Brief Description

The Munroe-Meyer Institute’s (MMI) mission is to be world leaders in transforming the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through outreach, engagement, educational programs, innovative research and patient care. There are 2 sites at check-in desks on the 2nd and 3rd floor, marking the entrances to main service areas. The goal of the artwork is to be an inviting, accessible and exciting for all age and development levels. Artwork must withstand or even invite touching and exploration, and be easily cleaned with normal cleaning agents. Acceptable materials include cast glass, mosaic, acrylic, wood, etc. Unacceptable work includes technology, wrapped canvas or additional protection requirements, protruding elements, or sensory overload.
