Brief Description

The Texas Tech University System seeks to commission a professional artist to create two to four artistic benches to be placed around “Riding into the Sunset,” a sculpture of Will Rogers by Electra Waggoner Biggs. These benches should not only enhance the area surrounding this prominent sculpture on the TTU campus, they should also be functional. Safety is imperative; durable, low-maintenance materials are recommended to withstand West Texas’ intense weather conditions.
