Welcome to the February issue of CODAmagazine, where we share the best design + art projects from all over the world. This magazine is published once a month by CODAworx. Weā€™re an online community for artists, design professionals, and industry resources to showcase their work, collaborate with one another, and find the creative resources they need for future projects.

The projects curated for this month exhibit the scope of how art fundamentally changes experience or serves as an experience itself. This combination of Art + Experience can entertain people and even build community. Untethered by the creativity of their makers, works in this category exist to transform and enliven the environments they are in. They do not simply decorate walls or spaces. They invite us to interact with our surroundings and to deeply consider what is possible when we engage with the world.

Included in these pages are unforgettable projects, such as Randy Polumboā€™s ā€œLodestarā€ sculpture for the legendary Coachella festival, symbolic seat fabric from Pae White and Tom Marble, plus, a lobby built for AT&T, which is worth the wait. When I reflect on the arts experiences that have made the biggest impressions in my own life, the ones I remember the most were similar to the February selections, often contextually inseparable from moments or locations.

Art may vary as individuals do, but we all share aspects of the human experience. We understand that the beautiful can also be functional,
and that our lives can be enhanced when the more mundane settings we frequently encounter become extraordinary. The picks for this month were created in diverse mediums, in different locations across the globe, and they prove just how universal these messages can be.

Subscribing to CODAmagazine is free, because I believe everyone should have access to the inspirational creations shaping our reality. Incredible design and art content can be sent to you every month when you become a CODAmagazine subscriber on Flipboard. Thank you for reading.

Sincerely,
