Overview

Site- specific piece to fit a 710” long wall. The biggest challenge for this project was the hallway was narrow, long, and it sloped down, the size sequentially increases along the hallway. The first piece starts at 53” long and 3” wide and sequentially increase to last piece at 83” long and 6” wide; the total of 57 panels.

Goals

I envisioned people walking up and down the hallway; I wanted the people to feel the change of height; from below their head to gradual change to height that towering over them. Because the hallway was dark and gloomy, I wanted this installation to be colorful and bright; I wanted the colors to flow harmoniously.
