Overview
In collaboration with The World of McIntosh, I was asked to showcase my wildlife photography throughout the townhouse during the summer of 2019. The project features my whale shark photo series, which highlights the vulnerability to one of the oceanās gentle giants alongside juxtaposed ethereal women. A combination of print on canvas and metallic print on plexiglass was used with the sizes up to 108″ x 78″
Goals
The ambiance and color was most important when choosing the artwork. My photography was selected to highlight the unique architecture of the townhouse, but standout against the muted colors of the walls and surroundings.
Process
Bringing out the colors in the images was key in the development, together with Duggal we used metallic printing on plexiglass to bring out the life of the images. The larger scale images we used a high quality canvas with extremely high resolution.
Additional Information
An animated version of a photograph of Japanese artist Miyavi was exhibited on LED screens, see attached video.
