Images representing Wisconsin landscapes. Integration into new building with multiple display areas. Not situation specifics.
Process
In answer for a call for proposals for artworks to enhance a new hospital under construction, I sent a submission that described the size, medium, and content of the work I was proposing, featuring local landscape. I already have a piece in the collection of University Health in the West-side hospital, so the selection team is familiar with my work. After a studio visit by the coordinator the commission was approved. I had six months to produce the five paintings,
