Overview
Inner Space is an experiential installation designed to evoke a reflective emotional response by guiding willing participants through a series of stages of meditative readings and audio tour stops on the interior of the 7ft “wall of would”. This work was a featured installation of New Haven City Wide Open Studios in 2014.
Goals
In this self funded project the installation was the feature of the event. The goal of the artwork was to create an instant visual impact that would draw viewers into the experience.
Process
As the artist and project leader I was responsible for managing all aspects of materials aquisition, handling, transportation and installation between various locations as wells coordinating volunteer and paid labor during construction and disassembly.
