Overview
9ft x 14ft x 5ft, Steel, JFK IAT, LLC Commission. 2014, JFK International Airport Terminal, New York
With its brilliant color, Voice of Tomorrow is situated at the high traffic intersection at the end of the central retail hall and the start of the main Delta Airlines boarding gates walkway. Comprised of 150 feet of bent steel tubing and 150 elements, the sculpture radiates its warmth beyond the physical boundaries of its construction.
Goals
Creating a focal point of the intersection of the main Delta Airlines walkway (Gates B) and the main commercial concourse of the 35, 000 passenger daily foot traffic of JFK Terminal 4.
Process
Continuous collaboration with Terminal leadership and in-house engineering as per location, lightening and site function.
