Overview
The site was selected by the project architects working on the new entrance park for the library, a small grassy area just outside the main doors.
Goals
Project goal was to provide a unique sculpture for the library entrance and to use humor to address the traditional role of libraries for searching information with card catalogues.
Process
The project was a collaboration between Jerolyn Bahm Colombik and Roger Colombik, working with Rob Clark of AIA Architects in Beaumont, TX
Additional Information
Sculpture as photographed is in our studio prior to installation which provided a better backdrop than the industrial beige wall.
