Overview

The art is 3-dimensional and made of transparent resin, and looks different from every angle and lighting condition. Each person, depending on their point of view— from right, left, up-close or outside, will experience a different composition.

Goals

The indoor piece is visible from the street and serves as a bright greeting to patients, their families and hospital staff, as they enter the new hospital tower. The intention is to create a moment of beauty, distraction and peace.

Process

The finished piece is a product of collaboration between the artist, client, and fabricators. The client saw and approved every stage of the design process, from the color palettes and material samples, to fully rendered drawings.
