Overview

This exuberant Joel Shapiro sculpture was the perfect fit for this client who approached Weingarten Art Group about their desire to have an iconic sculpture to animate and anchor their cliffside sea view.

Goals

Our goals for this highly visible curation were to inspire harmony in landscape, delight, and singular beauty. These collectors choose intentionally to live with a few, favorite, spare treasures – each iconic and carefully considered.  

With this in mind, we honored a holistic vision in which three unparalleled environments would be in harmony:  the La Jolla cliffs, a dramatic architectural masterpiece, and the mastery of Joel Shapiro. Each of these environments embodies its own unique sense of movement: the Pacific Ocean vista, a home embracing the dramatic cliffside and a sculptural beacon dancing on the edge of it all.
