Overview
Gappa’s installation, Turbulance, drew inspiration from both the motion and cleansing purity of water. Within these sectional vignettes, stylized waves of steel and glass are meant to express the tumultuous battle of a cancer fighter. The steel waves are inlayed with crushed glass, LED backlit, and span 25 feet long.
Goals
The goal was to provide a design that integrated all four niches together and draw the visitors through the space.
