Overview
Nelson Mandela Tree of wisdom was commissioned by Siemens for the Nelson Mandela School of science and technology in his home town in the Eastern Cape of South Africa
Goals
To stand a symbol for Mandelas Knowledge and his pledge to education.
Process
Siemens operated with complete trust and faith in my design process. I Worked with artisans at Rootform to create the steel structure. It was placed on a wooden deck . With Granite slabs at the base , with famous quoted from Mandela engraved on the granite slabs.
