Overview
The architectural glass art compositions entitled “The Spirit of Health” for the Integrative Medical Center in Żerniki Wrocławskie were designed and fabricated comprehensively, in accordance with the holistic approach of the IMC Clinic. The leitmotif of the whole project refers to the intense energy, that radiates from the inside and affects the surroundings.
Goals
The project creates a coherent character of interiors, with a unique atmosphere of all spaces built by such visual elements as: suspended spatial sculpture in the main hall of the Clinic, glass wall compositions with dedicated lighting in each room of the hotel, artistic marking of rooms from the corridor side, visual identification of the main blocks of the Clinic (Wellness, Restaurant, Hotel) and a climax in the form of a sculpture in the relaxation zone.
Process
The collaboration began with an invitation from the management of the Integrative Medical Center on the preliminary design stage of their new facility near Wrocław, Poland. The demanding task entrusted to the ARCHIGLASS studio (Tomasz Urbanowicz & Konrad Urbanowicz) consisted in creating related artistic compositions into spaces designed by architects from the NOVBUD office. The office, headed by arch. Urszula Wiśniowska, was also responsible for the construction of the Integrative Medical Center facility.
Additional Information
The official opening ceremony took place on 18th of April 2018.
