Overview
Large scale sculptural text for the New York Parks Department and The Union Square Partnership. This 10’x20’x5/8″ acrylic painted steel plate sculpture was installed in Union Square Park, New York City as a part of the Art In The Parks initiative.
Goals
The goal was to provide the city and its inhabitants and visitors with a thought provoking sculpture that helps to reaffirm New York as a center of art and learning.
Process
The project came to life over a three year period of working with the New York Parks Department.
