Goals
The site-specific project for the CityQuartier DomAquarée “Suspended Crystallization” 2010, a great intervention of light in the outside space, it is a spatial drawing that cutting the emptiness between buildings, imposes itself at the level of air like an illusory form. Aimed at transforming the space from the container of the artwork into an open and “permeable” form, the project materialized by the physical light of optical fibre is carried out through the free expressionism of space drawing the lines of light in negative in such a dark environment as if on a dark leaf.
Light has the property of moulding our perception of things.
With its power to permeate our receptive capacities, modifying them, it can bring down the walls that close a space in and create a new space in its place.
A visual language based on an “immaterial” phenomenon like light leads our perception of space itself to the borderline between real and illusory, founding its key elements on pure experimentation and research within this logic.
