Overview

This brick wall is 16'l x 8'h and both the property owners and art services group gave me discretion to design the art work. I came up with 5 drawings and the property owners chose the final design.

Goals

The property owners have a number of developments in which they feel it is important to integrate art work into the environment. Their philosophy is the importance of integrating art and beauty in living and working environment to obtain a feeling of a fullness of life. I wanted to create an art work that was fun and unexpected, thus using the blue to create a pop off the brick wall. A contemporary botanical theme.

Process

I worked with both the art services group and the property owner to design and create this installation. When the work was completed I shipped it to the art services group and they're team installed the artwork.
