Overview
20' h x 45'w exterior brick wall w/existing architectural elements – Develop a trompe l'oeil mural to evoke the goals and purpose of the facility
Goals
This needed to be a show-stopper - something that would not only make people stop and look, but also to make them think - about where and why their children were going to school. We also wanted to develop a design that could be incorporated into other areas of the school, while maintaining continuity.
Process
After talking with and interviewing the Director and her staff, they were confident that we could develop a design that would fit their criteria. It couldn't have been done at all without their input into what their vision consisted of.
Additional Information
One of my favorite projects. We still get amazing feedback from people who happen upon it. And the staff is still in love with it - not only the design, but the feelings and comments that it provokes.
