Overview
I was the Lead Artist to assemble a team to pitch this Permanent Fine Art Lighting Installation on the north face of the Stamford Train Station facing I-95, the largest hub outside of Grand Central. The lighting design is a combination of RGB LED strip lighting and RGB LED wash lighting. The lights are on and moving in a program rotation every evening from dusk to 1am.
Goals
The RFQ stated that the City of Stamford had been awarded a $155,000. grant to 'beautify the existing Stamford Train Station' northern facade with a permanent, efficient fine art lighting installation.
