Overview
‘Spark’, Outdoor Stainless Steel Sculpture, Seaport District Boston, 110″ x 72″ x 108″, 2023
Art Consultant: Turning Art
“A scribble represents a spontaneous artistic gesture that occurs at the inception of an idea. Spark captures two convergent scribbles frozen in time. The sculpture demonstrates the genesis of what could be and how collaboration enables innovation in art, science, and technology.
A nod to Pop Art and Abstract Expressionism, two sweeping gestures to unite and reflect clarity in an intricate world. Interlocking scribbles memorialize the core of an idea while serving of a reminder of possibilities ahead.”

Goals
One of the goals was to catch people's attention, and to serve as a reminder of potential involved within art, science, and technology. A scribble represents a spontaneous artistic gesture that occurs at the inception of an idea.
Process
Production involved 3d digital renderings, sourcing materials, and working with several fabricators along the way to bring the piece to fruition.
