Overview

Solar Wind evokes radiation, energy, sunbeams or explosion with the simple circular arrangement of bicycle wheels of two different sizes affixed to a motor cycle rim. The smaller wheels rotate freely. The steel and aluminum materials are made for outdoor exposure to weather and have lasting durability.
The construction of the sculpture uses both bolting and welding techniques to create two components of high integrity, the wheel circle and its support column, that are bolted together on site in a very secure way. The sculpture’s dimensions are HWD 12’ x 5.5’ x 2’
