Overview

Bird Panels are made of 1/8″ sheet aluminum fastened to a hollow wood frame. The aluminum work was pierced using a plasma torch and the surface treatment is acrylic paint and silver leaf. Each panel measures 30″ x 84″ long. Individual birds with dimensions approximately 10″ were displayed on the walls with rods above the panels.

Goals

The artwork was placed in the Skyhouse Condominiums in Atlanta. One 8' panel was placed at the main wall in foyer, then 3 - 8' panels were placed in a nearby adjacent hallway continuing the bird theme.

Process

Denice Bizot fabricated the panels and the surface treatment and concept was created by S Kendrick.

Additional Information

The bird panels are also available in brushed and textured bare aluminum and a variety of translucent hues exposing the textured surface.
