Overview

This project goal was to create an affordable residential chandelier.

Process

I worked with a water jet metal cutting company for the first time. They cut out the frame and chain parts. Also, I used an Adobe Illustrator expert to translate my design into a usable format for the metal cutting company. After I created the fused glass bowl element, it was integrated into the metal frame. The design in the glass is made of brass and copper fused between layers of glass. The addition of a 3 bulb light cluster produced the finished chandelier.
