Overview
My approach was to create a wayside sanctuary along the busy path of patients and visitors passing through the hospital. The project is located at the main entrance to the hospital.
Goals
The project had to fit into major renovations occurring in the hospital, most notably the shift of patient circulation from another hospital entrance to a new entrance adjacent to the Rotunda Gallery. As a result, thousands of visitors to the hospital flow through the rotunda on a daily basis.
Process
The rotunda was undergoing major renovations at the same time my gallery project was being finalized, requiring significant collaboration with architects, interior designers and electrical engineers.
