Overview
Summit Funding was relocating and expanding their Roseville CA branch office and wanted focal points of wall sculpture on a number of walls. They loved the idea of having my work throughout the common areas of their offices.
Goals
The designer wanted a modern contemporary look for this office. The Roses placed in the glassed in conference room were mirrored by the ultra red leather chairs. The Wormhole Elements were blended into the environment by matching the breakroom/supply room cabinetry and orange countertops. The Clouds Nine piece in the entry area captured a mountain ridge which complimented the Summit Funding logo.
Process
Liz Brittain, the designer, was open to suggestions on design, color, dimension and placement. We worked together to determine the best content and the best overall variety for the environment. She had a great suggestion to stretch the focus down a long hall by featuring extra orange Wormhole elements on a hall wall. Everyone was really happy to be able to have three large statement pieces, designed specifically for the space, for the money they had budgeted.
