Client: Ritz Carlton Hotel

Overview

A flowing abstract form in layered wood was designed to compliment the interior design of a luxury hotel. Approximately 8ft x 8ft x 6″, it is made of Baltic birch and bubinga.

Process

An art consultant commissioned me to create a wall sculpture for the landing of a stairwell. I created several designs which I placed in photos of the location. The art consultant showed their client the designs. A design was chosen, and I proceeded to create the sculpture.
