This work is an assemblage of 71 triangulated units with anchor 68 anchor points making the installation approximately 8’ x 8’ in size; a volume considerate to landscape representation and scale of the viewer. The work utilizes dichroics and mirrored filmed geometries to create an orchestration of complexity and rhythms derived from small shifts in position and orientation. It is a positive work hopeful in its reflection and changing spatial interpretation.
The work was created and exhibited as part of the 2014 Venice Architectural Biennale for the exhibition ‘Time Space Existence’ by the Global Art Affairs Foundation. It is a response to the theme on ‘Fundamentals’ by Rem Koolhaus, the Biennale Curator, and explores the use of primary elements, geometry and color.
