Overview
“We have a wall, our colors are blues, greys, yellows and the space is about 5'w x 8'h.” That's it.
Goals
I had a photo or two of the furnishings, but not much of an overview of the space. Walked in slightly blind and completely jetlagged.
Process
As is my habit, brough enough pieces so the client had plenty of kid in a candy store options. She began by choosing her favorite large pieces and we worked from there. It was a field choice to go with the gentle angle, as opposed to horizontal, vertical or the pickup sticks modes of installation. Modern work respecting a modern, yet retro space.
