Goals

Silver Series is an art project conceived with a desire to try to create an immersive outdoor experience in the courtyard of KUMU Museum The inverted surveillance network of the suspended balloon video cams becomes transparent as it applies web and wireless technologies, which actively engages the viewers through the collective gaze of surveillance to become observer and subject of observation. the balloons equipped with video cameras track continuously the activities of the viewers and broadcast in real time as streaming video on an interior space. In this project the captured video is rendered as continuous manipulated data through computer software specially designed which enables the observation of a new visual mobile aerial perspective, which reconfigures surveillance imagery and creates continuous visual and audio records of unexpected subjectivities. the balloons equipped with video cameras track continuously the activities of the viewers and broadcast in real time as streaming video on an interior space.
