Overview
Large scale mural on a busy Seattle intersection that changed the space from an ivy covered wall, to an activated and inviting crossroads.
Goals
This project was a commissioned artwork by the building owner that integrated with the buildings overall paint scheme. It was conceptually intended to be a continuation of the existing murals flanking it, while seamlessly transitioning into the primary and trim colors of the mid-century building it adorns.
Process
The process for this project was rather straightforward. It began as a dialogue with the building owner regarding changing the wall, then I simply presented concepts and they chose the most enticing.
Additional Information
This mural is located at one of the busiest intersections in the city of Seattle and spans 100' x 18' on CMU walls, and approximately 30' x 9' on chainlink fence.
