Overview

“I Know You Know That I Know”, Permanent Installation, Colorado Convention Center,

Goals

The goal of this project was to activate this blank corridor with color and an identity for the users of the Colorado Convention Center.

Process

The art consultants asked me to draw my inspiration from one of my previous exhibits for this installation, and to consider the doorways and pillars. Other than those notes, I had complete freedom in terms of design and execution.

Additional Information

This piece was commissioned by the city of Denver as 1 of 8 new pieces in the Colorado Convention Center to help the launch of “Imagine 2020”, a new cultural plan for Denver, CO in March 2016, and won Best new public art in downtown Denver 2014 later that year.
