Overview
“Here to there” is curated in collaboration by the Denver International Airport Art and Culture Program and the To Expand Artists, a collective of five local artists. Each of the five artists interpret the theme of moving from “here to there” using their medium of choice ranging from encaustic and wood sculpture to fiber, collage and painting. All artworks were specifically created for the exhibition.
Goals
“We invited the EXPAND collective to interpret the theme of movement through their artwork, and we hope this original exhibition featuring elements of wood, wax, collage, fiber and oil resonates with our customer’s travel experience,” said DIA Art and Culture Program Manager, Chris Stevens.
