Overview
PROTECT first comes to mind when thinking of a fire-fighter. The word is viewed from one direction, the other perspective shows the silhouette of a firefighter.
The red lettering spelling “Protect” is visible from one direction while two other perspectives show a gray silhouette of a first responder. The final side, opposite “Protect,” is “an abstraction, symbolic of the unknowns that these heroes face each call.

Goals
The sculpture readily identifies the activities of the Department, One's change in perspective makes the imagery more clear.
Process
Our design team worked closely with the city's arts commission to ensure the placement was one that brought pride to the new Fire Station, the fire fighters it houses, as well as the broader community. Each element was discussed with options and alternative solutions agreed upon collectively.
Additional Information
This composition is available as a limited edition, and can be sized to best suit site. Additional first responders are also options.
