Overview
Connecting movement, color and mood, these works are part of the artists ‘loose’ dots series and are a pure expressions of his emotional being. These paintings were curated for an avid art collectors private, modern residence. The large piece shown to the left is titled “Monet’s Garden No. 4″ and is 201″ x 79” of acrylic paint on canvas. The artwork shown over the staircase is titled “In and Out of the Blue No. 5″ and is 85″ x 104” of acrylic on canvas with a white wood floating museum frame. The artist is a trained finish carpenter and he makes his own stretchers and build his own frames.
Goals
The client requested 6 unique pieces that would further enhance the modern architecture of the house and personalize the space. Though each piece tells its own story, they complement one another and unify the space.
Process
As a seasoned art collector, the client clearly communicated the style and aesthetic that he was seeking. The artist curated a collection of pieces and personally brought them to the residence for selection and placement of the art work.
