Overview
“Primeval Spaces” a vinyl utility box wrap commission by the City of Kent WA. This digital vector artwork was commissioned in 2021 by the City of Kent WA. It reminds us that nature is a powerful force that has the power to heal. I created this artwork after a hike along a salmon spawning creek near the city. The remains of the old growth forest serve as nurse logs fostering new life and diversity.
Goals
The goal was to remind the community that we share our space with other beings and to celebrate life's diversity
Process
Three digital vector artworks were provided to the commission panel and the final selection was resized to the actual dimensions of a pair of traffic utility boxes. The vinyl wrap was installed by a city vendor.
