Overview

The concept: to create an installation on a ceiling and subtly showcase the original tin type. The decision was made to re-purpose some of the existing ceiling boards to add a dynamic movement within the room. Each board was cut to different lengths, painted one of 5 colors and decisively placed to lead the client around the room. To add a points of interest several slatted boxes were created from some old shelving found in the attic. This installation gives the viewer a modern experience while maintaining the integrity of the building (built in 1904).
