Overview
The Round-About sculpture for Sisseton, South Dakota is a threshold, marking a traverse into a deep sense of place. Inspired by the native Lake Traverse tribal community, this project celebrates the Sisseton (Dwellers of the Fish Ground) and Wahpeton (Dwellers Among the Leaves).
Goals
1. Create a meaningful visual experience as traffic moves through the round-about
2. Acknowledge the symbolism of the local Tribal Community
