Overview
The original artwork was produced as an original watercolor. Digitally scanned for a final image of approx 20'H x 10'W, a laminated glass wall was produced in nine separate pieces.
Goals
The goals were first to bring a visual message of hope and healing to the space itself. The integration of palette, size and proportion of the final panels and the artworks' relation to the space itself all played a role in meeting the goals of the client.
Process
The collaboration process on a project like this, while fluid, always changes throughout the process. Initial discussions tend to revolve around the message and brand while further down the timeline, the discussion turns to more production issues and installation. Each step is important and each collaborator's input needs to be considered and respected. The team as a whole was instrumental to the project.
