Overview
This is a 360 degree photographic panorama of the St. Louis City Garden at night. This edition of it is a cylindrical print on aluminum 7 ft tall and 6 ft in diameter. The 360 degree image is presented over a 290 degree field of view from the center so it completely fills your field of view from the center. The legs are removable for transport. The main piece is 30lbs.
Goals
This piece has been used as a backdrop for televisions shows created in the T-Rex space. It also serves as inspiration in this business incubator that houses many St. Louis startups.
Process
This piece is on loan from the artist to T-Rex until sold.
Additional Information
I felt that the 360 degree image deserved to be shown in cylindrical fashion. One unanticipated benefit is that many people have taken their picture in front of it, since the cylindrical format makes it seem as though you were really at the location given that the perspective is correct, unlike a flat image.
