Overview
Project consisted of 4 granite icons of native California wildlife: The California Otter, California Brown Bear, California Condor, and California Grey Whale.
Goals
These icons are installed at scenic overlooks and inspiration points along California's world famous Pacific Coast Highway, at the points where these creatures are likely to be seen.They are life size which means the Whale is 50 feet long.
Process
Client required that these icons be biologically realistic in their size, textures, as well as their expressions.
