Outdoor sculpture consisting of 2 circles, 5ft and 4ft in diameter with hand worked aluminum and powder coating.
This project was a commissioned piece for a specific space. Size and color were important. The sculpture is meant to be a marker for entrance into private space and present a playful, welcoming environment with a deeper meaning represented by overlapping circles as symbolic of connection, unity, and balance.
As artists we had been working on how to transform our interior wall sculpture Ellipse Series into outdoor sculpture. This client gave us the push and the budget to explore this new direction for us. We look forward to creating more in this series.
