Overview
Over-life size resin on wood sculpture of 2 teenagers contemplating “Life”.
Goals
Originally this sculpture was cast in resin. Later, the new owner of the park, Stanley Tanger (Tanger outlet Malls) wanted the sculpture cast in bronze.
Process
The city of Charlottesville had a sculpture proposal for an appropriate sculpture for their Juvenile Courthouse. I created a small model for the presentation, but was too late. The maquette had been sitting on my shelve for 10-15 years until Dr. Chandler, of the Bicententennial Gardens in Greensboro NC noticed it and commissioned me to make it life size for the park.
