Overview
An installation for Canary Wharf Summer Lights 2022 //
The sculpture O.T. 1131 was created especially for the Summer Lights 2022 festival in Canary Wharf, which asks artists to submit a work that works with sunlight. The artwork consists of two spaces of almost equal size, one of which is perforated metal and the other is the static support as a frame. Coloured foils were applied to the perforated sheeting, which were thrown through the perforated sheeting onto the floor depending on the position of the sun. From the back, one can look through the perforated sheeting and the foils into the sky or sun and thus experience an exciting ensemble of colours. O.T. 1131 stands permanently near the London Eye (Southbank, London).
