Overview
The overall project was an accumulation of experience from my past work with large scale dandelions. I was obsessed with a model I fabricated called ” North Star “. I loved the form / idea of the model and decided I need to create a much larger version of this art piece. I’ll be working on all types of variations ( small interior pieces / large scale 30ft public interactive pieces). These pieces will have advanced LED Light Systems installed to use sensors / data to drive the viewers experience.
Goals
The main goal for this project was to have a new and exciting idea for Chicago Sculpture Exhibition. This idea was built off years working with stainless steel. I wanted to create something truly unique and never seen before. I will be working on all types of variations for interiors as well as public spaces.
