Overview
Night Forms is a rare opportunity to explore Grounds For Sculpture at night through more than a dozen site-specific works, including an illuminated tree-lined path. Night Forms, crescendos between order and chaos, with unexpected twists and “glitches” heightening the shared experience along the way. Klip uses a unique synthesis of video projection, light and sound to create a dialog with sculptures in the collection, offering new perspectives in this immersive exhibit.
Goals
The goal for the exhibit was to create outdoor programming during the non-peak season drawing new visitors and expanding the institution's audience.
The exhibit was designed as a site-specific experience with light, video projection, and sound taking visitors through the grounds of the sculpture garden along the newly paved pathway. Seamless integration of the technology into the landscape was integral to create an immersive feel and transport visitors to the hyperreal.
