Overview

nature moment is a co-art and co-creation alliance, initiated by the Lesight Design Team, which is keen on situational experience design. The alliance takes nature and life as an entry point for inspiration, aims to connect individuals from different fields, improve and realize individual concepts through co-art and co-creation method. In this way, every ordinary person who has a desire for art can become a creator, and make the two-way healing for creators and viewers through the power of nature.
Under the technical support of the Lesight Design Team, the nature moment has created over ten artworks with ten artists in the past year. For example, the conceptual nature (exhibits/72, Neuron Brick, Ovum&Chaos) ); real nature (exhibits/ After Tree, Tree&Tech); sensory nature (exhibits/ Fog&Faded, Lay Down); algorithmic nature (exhibits/ Bamboo Grove Symphony, Mountain Spirit) and so on, all the artworks joint diverse perspectives to explore the relationship between the human and the nature, continuing to communicate and resonate freely with each individual, and becoming a stage of inspiration for other artistic expressions such as music and visuals.

Goals

The co-art and co-creation are the core mechanism of nature moment.
The works are created with different individuals, different teams and different audience; The inspiration, the work and the continuous interactive experience constitute the complete expression of nature moment.
nature moment believes that nature not only from nature.
Under the high speed of city running and the pressure of information, nature becomes an element that people are instinctively close to, and a basic unit with emotional healing power. There is no need for people to go to the mountains or the sea to feel the power of nature, while one sound, one breath, one touch, some extracted and amplified moments can release the healing power of nature through the expression of design works.
There are many different expressions in our works, such as painting art, installation art, digital art, sound art, mechanical design, 3D printing and others. All the works lead viewers into different creators’ natural moments and also let them leave their own nature-inspired stories from multiple dimensions such as sight, smell, hearing and touch.

Process

This project involves collaboration between numerous creators and project teams, integrating various technologies, exploring diverse materials, and engaging in dialogues across different artistic forms. Artwork 72, Neuron, and Egg Chaos all attempt to present the dialectical relationship between social concepts and natural forms through 3D technology.
The artwork Neuron explores the relationship between urban units and life.

The artwork Tree Technique, similar to Rurality, is a reinterpretation and extension of traditional oil painting. By innovatively combining algorithms, technology, and materials, it enables a more three-dimensional and tension-filled narrative of flat mountains and frozen time. It transforms the visual experience of grass under the shade of a tree into a scene that can be physically touched, creating the possibility of sensory immersion for the imagination.
The artwork Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove visualizes the untouchable aspects of nature through the collaboration of sound artists and digital artists. It captures the sounds of seven creatures found in the mountains and forests of Jiangnan, including crickets, warblers, bees, cicadas, wild boars, frogs, and humans.

Additional Information

Give space to art, not art to space nature moment believes that exhibition is not the end of creation. Works continue to have a relationship with the space, connect with viewers effectively and even resonate with other creators, reflecting the core of the Co-art and Co-creation Alliance. The works of nature moment not only bear the daily visiting need, but also provide inspiration stage for many concerts, and become the base of nature experience education for local children and youths, so the extended significance and influence have been achieved in scene and content aspects.
