Client: Private Residence

Overview

This project was a series of exterior architectural murals on a private residence. The home is adobe colored stucco and elastomeric stucco.

Goals

The artwork applied to the walls generates an added ambiance to the chosen spaces and also creates a space full of color for the grey, cold and dreary winter months. Integration in to the existing style can be desired if that style has inherent value. If the existing building is not very attractive an added exterior architectural mural can compensate for that by adding distinct visual focal points.

Process

The client approached the artist with an interest in murals for their home. Scaled drawings are prepared for the overall layout and colors incorporating various site specific considerations concerning the architectural style of the building.

Additional Information

Murals or exterior wall art can change the whole appearance of a building with a relatively low cost to effect ratio.
