Overview

The Moons of the Galaxy is a large scale sculpture created by metal artist and painter, Clayton Swartz of Pinellas Park, FL. The artist was commissioned to create a 14 feet sculpture for the City of Bonita Springs. The sculpture is a landmark for the City of Hall.

Goals

His vision is to enhance communities by creating sculptures that are visually stimulating and engages the community to interact with the sculpture by discovering the sculptures beauty and meaning.

Process

The City of Bonita Springs met Clayton while attending an art festival in previous years. They explored his website and discussed various sculptures that they loved. Clayton worked with the group to come up with a design within their budget. The sculpture exceeded the expectations of the committee.
